The Role:

Speeds Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare solutions, is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for 2nd/3rd Line IT Support duties, working closely with the IT Manager to ensure that all IT Systems & Services are always running smoothly and fully operational.

You will be expected to:
Be the point of technical escalation for the 2nd line team and ensuring high levels of services are delivered and maintained.

You will be responsible for the full ownership of incidents and ensuring that they are quickly prioritised.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in project implementations and more.

Actively oversee the deployment, planning, and upkeep of software and hardware in collaboration with
the IT Manager.

Take a proactive approach in maintaining Active Directory, Office 365, Group Policy, user accounts, and
file security permissions.

Oversee IT projects, working closely with the IT Manager to implement effective technical solutions.
Be proactive and able to multitask effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:
An experienced & confident individual with a passion for IT Support and learning new technologies who can work in a team and independently. A proven history of providing IT support and acting as an escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line support team is ideal.

Essential:
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server/Windows Desktops (10 & 11).
• TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS & Group Policy.
• Active Directory/Azure AD, Office 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisation skills.
• Networking experience. (Switches, Firewalls, Routers, Wi-Fi).
Desirable
• Microsoft Intune.
• Hyper-V or Proxmox.
• HP Aruba Switches/AP’s.
• ITIL Practitioner or knowledge of.

Working Hours
40 hours per week. Working flexibly within the hours of 8am – 18:00pm, Monday to Friday, as the business requires.
