Speeds Health Care are looking for a Clinical Governance Pharmacist to join our Clinical and Governance team.

This role will require applicants to work remotely with the expectation of attending regular meetings at our office based in Chester as well as travel to our services nationally.

This role would suit applicants looking for full time, 40 hours per week however part time/flexible hours may be considered for the right applicant.

We supply medicines, equipment, consumables and support services to private hospitals and clinics throughout the UK. The Role:

A pharmacist who will be principally focused on supporting our health and social care establishments to meet all regulatory medicines management standards.  You will undertake quality assurance activities, peer review reports and support staff and customers with legal, professional standards and governance queries.  You will undertake training and supervision visits with pharmacists new to the role or requiring support.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience of working in a clinical governance or professional standards role would be advantageous.  There is the opportunity to further develop clinical skills and to undertake a post-graduate qualification. We welcome applications from both community and hospital pharmacists with at least 3 years’ post-registration experience.

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in clinical practice
  • Experience of medicines management within health and social care settings
  • Excellent communication and time management skills and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Mental health pharmacy experience
